My girl: "Oh no! I'm sorry."
Me: "I know. I was really disappointed. Thanks for your sympathy."
My girl: "I'm really sorry about that, Alicia."

My girl: "What?"
Me, pointing: "That's one of those cars I hate, a Honda Element."
My girl, looking benignly at the Element: "Oh, that's nasty."
