"Anaerobic" refers to anaerobic respiration, which in my Life Fitness understanding (correct me if I'm wrong, sarcinae or other bio-minded readers) occurs after aerobic exercise -- that is, when you've been exercising too long. (Which for me is five minutes or so.)
The CD mix is all music you can do aerobics to. Too much of it, in fact...hence the mix title.
If I were editing this mix, I would add a cool-down song at the end -- something ridiculous, like "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough" by Patty Smith and Don Henley.
Suggestions for good mix edits are welcome.
